Marcia Wood & Company
Real Estate Consultant & Broker

If you have an interest in the commercial real estate market in Sarasota, Florida, whether you already live here, would like to live here, or are just curious, I can help.

As a Real Estate Consultant and Real Estate Broker, I can find just the right investment or site for you. I can lead you through the zoning issues, development issues, the current political appetite, and various and sundry additional potential potholes in the road to successful development or investment.

You won't find listings on this website. I take very few listings and only those that realistically have a market. The remainder of my business consists of opportunities that are around the area; sellers who don't want their property put publicly on the market, development deals, owners who would sell if the transaction made sense for them, and the entire circle of commercial real estate in Sarasota, Florida.

I've been in the local real estate market for 19 years and have served as President or Board Member of virtually every Economic Development entity in the county at one time or another, most recently as President of the Downtown Association (downtown is a real opportunity.) I also serve on several advisory boards for the City.

If I am unable to help you, I will direct you to someone who can. Sarasota has many great opportunities. Property appreciation levels are very high, but entry into the market may also be high. You just have to make smart decisions.

I look forward to hearing about your interests... Marcia Wood

Sarasota Downtown Association Sarasota Chamber of Commerce

According to the Sarasota Greater Chamber of Commerce..."Once known primarily as a vacation or retirement destination, today's Sarasota is home to diversity. A great year-round climate, expanding employment opportunities, abundant leisure time activities and excellent schools attract creative entrepreneurs, skilled workers and professionals who want to thrive in a community where life is fun. Almost half of Sarasota County's population is in the prime working age range of 25 to 64. No matter what your age or stage, there's always something interesting to do in Sarasota. "
